Weather is an ever-unraveling duet, a song between our mouths, an intimate dance on the terrain of togetherness. Our process stemmed from a shared desire to dance together and re-contextualize the synchronicities in our training. In making the work, we engaged with “weather” both as a sensorial prompt (the dryness of the desert, the moist air after rain) and as a way of attending to the unnameable tensions we perceived in one another’s movement as we improvised.
